Hide for photographing the Common Tawny Owl
We offer you a unique experience for photographing the Common owl (Strix aluco) in a controlled environment specifically prepared to obtain spectacular images of this nocturnal raptor.
Session Schedule and Conditions
The sessions begin approximately one hour before sunset. There is chances of the tawny owl entering even in natural light, This allows us to take some photos during the day. As night falls, we will continue the session with artificial lighting specially prepared for these circumstances.
The session will have a approximate duration 3 hours
⚠️ Important: It cannot be guaranteed that the bird will enter during daylight hours
Recommended Equipment
For best results, it is recommended to use lenses of the following types:
- 400 mm, 500mm. 600mm
- Tripod
It is not necessary to bring lighting equipment. Both the flashes like the continuous light will be provided and managed by me throughout the session.
About the Hide
The hideout is portable and fabric, ideal for this type of night photography.
Support and Supervision
Throughout the entire session, A guide will be present. to ensure the proper development of the activity and manage the lighting. They will also determine when to end the session.

- Price per session: €140
- One person per session and day
The session can be repeated free of charge within two months. if the Tawny Owl doesn't enter; After that period, any new session will be charged at the normal price.
