Who's behind it?
I am Fernando Sánchez de Castro, a wildlife photographer since 2006. For over 20 years I have learned to work with wild species, to understand their behaviors and to seek out quality images with respect and patience.
Since 2015, I've managed Hides del Tiétar. If there's one thing we've learned in these 11 years, it's the importance of honesty: with the client and with the photographic results. That's why, if a species starts to fail to appear, we stop selling sessions until they're back in good condition. If something isn't working, the session is canceled or repeated, because the most important thing is that the client leaves satisfied and with quality photos, within the limits that wild nature allows.
I work exclusively at Hides del Tiétar, but I offer hides for different skill levels. With the right guidance, anyone can have a great shoot, provided they have the appropriate equipment. For more advanced photographers, there are also options for capturing more challenging and creative images.
