A workshop specializing in an advanced and unusual technique within wildlife photography: the controlled creation of light trails applied to the flight of nocturnal birds of prey.
Currently, there are no known workshops specifically focused on this technique applied to birds of prey in flight. It is a complex discipline that combines technical precision, control of artificial lighting, and exact synchronization with the bird's actual movement.

Schedule
Saturday
• 10:00 – 14:00 → Intensive theoretical session
• 16:00 – 19:00 → Practical exercises with birds of prey in flight
Sunday
• 10:00 – 12:00 → Advanced practice and refinement
The start time of 10:00 on Saturday allows travel from Madrid that same morning.
Workshop Focus
Contrail photography demands a high level of technical skill and a deep understanding of motion behavior. It is not a simple technique. It requires:
• Precise exposure control
• Advanced artificial light management
• Precise firing synchronization
• Understanding actual movement in flight
• Knowledge of the operation of infrared barriers, necessary in certain situations for this type of photography
During the workshop, the entire process will be explained step by step so that each participant acquires the necessary knowledge and can subsequently apply this technique independently in their own sessions.
