We have prepared a new format for those who want to experience the photographic beauty of Zimanga on a shorter trip and at a more affordable price.

They will be 4 nights in Zimanga, Making the most of our stay and combining photo hides, safaris and an experience in the Umgodi night hide.

The group will be limited to one Maximum of 6 photographers.

Expected window: approximately between September 12 and 17, 2027. The four-night stay will fit within this window; the final dates will depend on Zimanga's availability and flight connections.

THE EXPERIENCE

Zimanga is especially geared towards wildlife photography. During your stay, we will combine sessions from hides specifically designed for photography with photographic safaris within the reserve.

The goal is to make the most of the four available nights, with photographic activities in the morning and afternoon according to Zimanga's plan.

Lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and many other species are part of the reserve's characteristic wildlife. These are always wild animals: their behavior is unpredictable, and no sighting can be guaranteed.

PHOTOGRAPHIC HIDES

The Zimanga hides allow you to obtain perspectives and photographs that are difficult to get from a vehicle, working at a low height and with facilities designed for wildlife photography.

The specific schedule of hides and safaris will depend on the organization of the reserve itself, its conditions, and the planning of each day.

DOORNHOEK HOMESTEAD

Doornhoek Homestead will be our group's private accommodation for the four nights in Zimanga. The stay includes full board and drinks are included in the booking.

PROGRAM

ARRIVAL DAY

Arrival in Durban and transfer to Zimanga. Expected arrival around noon, check-in at Doornhoek Homestead and first photography activity in the afternoon, depending on the schedule.

CENTRAL DAYS

Photo sessions in the morning and afternoon, combining hides and safaris according to Zimanga's plan.

ONE NIGHT IN UMGODI

During the stay, a night session will be held at Umgodi Overnight Hide.

DEPARTURE DAY

Last photographic activity in the morning if the schedule allows, followed by transfer back to the airport.

€3,600 PER PERSON

FLIGHTS AND POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL NIGHTS

International flights are not included. For guidance only, on our previous trip, round-trip flights were around 1.200 €; This amount is not a guaranteed price for 2027.

Flight times will need to be coordinated with arrival and departure from Zimanga. Depending on available connections, an additional hotel night before or after your stay may be necessary. As a guideline, these nights may be approximately between 70 and 100 €, without it being a fixed price.
